Joshua Part 1
This week we’re diving into Joshua 1, and honestly, it’s a solid reminder that before we can take on anything out there, we have to deal with what’s going on inside, mainly fear and discouragement. Joshua had to lead an entire nation after Moses, which sounds crazy intimidating. We all hit moments like that, where we feel unsure or anxious about what’s next.
But here’s the thing: when God tells Joshua (and us) to “be strong and courageous,” He’s not saying it because we’ve got it all together. It’s because He promises to be with us, no matter what. The real challenge is to stay connected to what God says, filling our minds with His Word instead of just worrying about our situation.
So, if you’ve been letting fear or discouragement hang around, maybe it’s time to kick them out. God’s presence is the game-changer. This story shows us we can step forward with confidence, not because life is easy, but because God’s always with us, right in the middle of whatever battle we’re facing.
